Marsha Niemeijer is a director, writer, and artist interested in stories about messy women, woeful romances, and escapist fantasies.
While she is originally from Bangkok, Thailand, Marsha is currently based in Providence, RI. She is in her last year at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) pursuing a BFA in Illustration with an Interdisciplinary Study Option in live-action film and a concentration in English literature, film, and theatre. During her time at RISD, she has written and directed short films, theatre productions, and animations while working on visual storytelling techniques through comics, concept art, storyboards, and illustrations.
Marsha is a lover and of art history, Shakespeare, intersectional feminism, and matinee movies. She can be found in a movie theatre, three rows from the top, smack in the middle.
